The squat, lunge and plank are three of the most common functional movements used in fitness and mind/body workouts. Building a strong foundation with each of these exercises will excel your client’s performance in activities of daily living to athletic endeavors. In this workshop, Portia explores the mechanics of each movement and how to safely train and perform these exercises with diverse populations and demographics. With detailed coaching and cueing you will start from exercise set up, progress through modifications and build up to progressions and challenges in three easy steps.
